mE CORPORATION JF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 77-81
Being a by-law imposing special annual drainage
rates upon land in respect of which money is
borrowed under The Tile Drainage Act 1971
WHEREAS an owner of land in the municipality has applied to the Council
under The Tile Drainage Act, 1971, for loan for the purpose of constructing
sub-surface drainage works on such land;
AND WHEREAS the Council has approved of a loan to the owner the total
sum of $3,900 to be repaid with interest by means of rates hereinafter imposed:
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED By the.Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle, that annual rates as set out in the Schedule attached hereto are hereby
~ imposed upon such land as described for a period of 10 years, such rates to be
levied and collected in the same manner as taxes;
AND FURTHERMORE that this By-law is subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board.
READ a First and Second Time this 7th day of November, 1977.
READ a third Time arid Finally Passed this 7th day of November, 1977.
