CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-law No. 77-80
A By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law Number 1587, as amended,
of the former Town of Bowmanvi1le
WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it expedient to
amend Restricted Area By-law Number 1587, as amended, of the former Towr. of Bowmanville;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle ENACTS as..
follows;
1. Schedule B of By-law 1587 of the former Town of Bowmanville
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following Special
Condition 6.

"SPECIAL CONDITION 6"
A parcel of land on the north-wast corner of Loscombe Drive and
the road allowance between Lots 12 and 13 in Concession 1, more
pal"ticularly described as Lot 181, Reoistered Plan Number 702 and
shown on "Schedule A" l:atched and marked "SPECIAL CONDITION 6"
shall be subject to the special regulations hereinafter contained,
and where there is any conflict between the regulations herein-
after set out and any other provisions of this By-law, as amended,
the provisions of these special regulations shall apply but in the
event that this special condition is silent on any matter, then
the provisions applicable to an R-2 zone will apply.
1.1 Defined Area - The area subject to this Special Condition is
Lot 181 of Registered Plan 702.

1.2 Permitted Uses - In addition to the uses normally permitted in
the R-2 zone, the dwelling located on the subject land may also be
used for the day-time care of not more than 25 children, provided
that the said dwelling continues to be used also for the purpose
of a single family detached dwelling.
2. Map 3 of Schedule "A" to By-law 1587 is hereby amended by adding
hatching and the words "SPECIAL CONDITION 6" to the designation
thereon of lot 181, Registered Plan Number 702.
3. This By-law shall become effective on the date hereof, subject to the
approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
