THE CORPORATION OF mE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law Number 77-75
Being a by-law to amend Zoning By-Law Number 2111
of the former Township of Darlington, as amended.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it expedient
to amend Restricted Area By-Law Number 2111, as amended, of the former Township of
Darlington.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle ENACTS as
follows: -
1. By-law Number 2426 of the former Township of Darlington is hereby repealed.
2. By-law Number 2499 of the former Township of Darlington is hereby repealed.
3. Section 7, Subsection (d) of By-law 2111, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following subsection (4):-
"(4) C2-3 Part of Lot 20, Concession 2
Notwithstanding any provisions of this By-law to the contrary, the parcel
of land located in part of Lot 20, Concession 2 and designated C2-3 on the
attached Schedule "A" hereto shaE be used only for the purpose of a public
garage, a new and used car lot, an automobile service station and one single
family detached dwelling, provided that said dwelling is erected in compliance
with the zone provisions for the Rl zone, and provided further that no vehicles
may be parked within 5 feet of the front lot line or within 15 feet of any
side lot line."
4. Key Map 23 of Schedule "A" to By-law 2111 is hereby amended by changing to
C2-3 the zone designation of the lands designated "ZONE CHANGE TO C2-3" on
the attached Schedule "X" hereto.

5. This By-law shall come into effect on the date hereof, subject to receiving
the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
