THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE

BY-LAW NO. 77-62
Being a by-law to amend By-Law No. 74-89 as
amended, being a by-law to establish certain
policy and benefits for employees not covered
by Union Agreement.
WHEREAS By-Law No. 74-89 passed by the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle on the 16th day of December, 1974, established certain policy
for employees not covered by Union Agreement;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend this by-law with regard
to Mileage Allowance;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the. Town of Newcastle
enacts as follows:-
1. Clause (8) is hereby deleted and the following substituted:-

Mileage Allowance
Employees requested to use their own vehicles for
business purposes will be reimbursed at the rate of
22 cents per mile for all miles travelled for the
Corporation with effect from July 1, 1977.
Read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of August, 1977.
