THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 71-3
Being a by-law to establish Standing Committees and
the Members thereof for the year 1977.
The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby enacts
as follows:-
(1) That the Standing Committees for the year 1977 shall be as follows:
(a) Finance Committee
(b) Personnel and Property Committee
(c) Legislation and By-Laws Committee
(d) Planning Advisory Committee
(e) Community Services Committee
(f) Public Works Committee
(g) Industrial Committee
(2) That the composition of the foregoing Committees shall be as follows:

(a) Finance Committee
- All Members of Council
- Chairman D.W. Allin
(b) Personnel and Property Committee
- Councillor E.R. Woodyard, Chairman
- Councillor R. Dykstra, Member
- Councillor R. B. Taylor, Member
(c) Legislation and By-Laws Committee
- Councillor J.W. Holliday, Chairman
- Councillor D.W. Allin, Member
- Councillor E.R. Woodyard, Member
(d) Planning Advisory Committee
- Councillor R. Dykstra, Chairman
- Councillor R.B. Taylor, Member
- Councillor E.R. Woodyard, Member
- Together with six citizens to be appointed by resolution of Council
one member to be appointed by the. Board of Education, and one member
to be appointed by the Separate School Board.
(e) Community Services Committee
