THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 76-74
Being a by-law to amend By-Law No. 74-89 being a by-law
to establish certain policy and benefits for employees
not covered by Union Agreements.
WHEREAS By-Law No.774-89 passed by the Council of the Town of Newcastle
on the 16th day of December, 1974, established a certain policy and benefits for
employees not covered by Union Agreement;
AND WHEREAS By-Law No. 74-89 was amended by By-Law No. 76-44 passed
by Council on the 19th day of July, 1976;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it expedient to amend said By-Law No. 74-89;
NOW r:r':?EFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
enacts as follows:
1.
That Section 3 - Pay Days of By-Law No. 74-89 be deleted and the
following words substituted:
"3. Pay Days
Payment will be semi monthly on the working day nearest the 15th
and last working day of the month, except the pay days for the
Director of Public Works, Secretary of the Director of Public Works,
Public Works Foremen and Superintendents, who shall be paid
. bi-weekly. "
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 13th day of
December, 1976.
