THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE By-Law No. 76-66 Being a by-law to stop up and close and authorize the conveyance of part of the road allowance between Lots 8 and 9, Concession 6, in the Tcwn of Newcastle (formerly Township of Clarke), WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it desirable to pass this by-law; AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to pass the said by-law in accordance with the requirements of Section 446 of The Municipal Act, R.S,O. 1970, Chapter 284, was published in the Orono Weekly Times on the 29th day of September, 1976 6th day of October, 1976 13th day of Octob r, 1976 20th day of October, 1976 AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham, on the 24th day September, 1976, and the Regional Council- "granted approval to the proposed by-law. NOW THEREFORE be it enacted and it is enacted as a by-law of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as follows: ~ ) o~ 1. Those portions of the road allowance in the Town of Newcastle hereinafter described are hereby stopped up and closed: ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels and tracts of land situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and being corr.posed of those portions of the original road allowance between Lots 8, and 9 in the Sixth Concession of the Geographic Township of Clarke, formerly in the County of Durham, more particularly designated as Parts 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, II, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 according to Plan IOR-633, deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Newcastle (No. 10) on the 29th day of July, 1976, 2. Those portions of the road allowance hereinbefore described shall be conveyed by the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to abutting owners.
