THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 76-64
being a by-law to repeal by-law #73-18
of the former Village of Newcastle
WHEREAS the Council of the former Village of Newcastle
did, by By-law Number 73-18, passed on December 13, 1973, adopt
the Official Plan for tha Newcastle Planning Area;
AND WHEREAS the ~~inister of Housing has not at the
date of passing of this By-law, approved the above mentioned
Official Plan;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality
of Durham did, by By-law Number 138-76, passed on July 14, 1976,
adopt the Official Plan for the Durham Planning Area which now
renders in many respects, obsolete, the above mentioned Official
Plan;
. NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. By-law Number 73-l8 of the former Village
of Newcastle is hereby repealed.

THIS BY-LAW READ A SECOND TIME this 1st day of November A.D. 1976
