THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 76-63
being a by-law to repeal by-law No. 1757
of the former Township of Clarke
WHEREAS the Council of the former Township of
Clarke did, by By-law Number 1757, passed on September 19,
1973, adopt the Official Plan of the Clarke Planning Area;
AND WHEREAS the Minister of Housing has not, at
the date of passing of this By-law, approved the above mentioned
Official Plan;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality
of Durham did, by By-law Number 138-76, passed on July 14, 1976,
adopt the Official Plan for the Durham Planning Area which now
renders in many respects, obsolete, the above mentioned Official
Plan;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. By-law Number 1757 of the former Township
of Clarke is hereby repealed.
THIS BY-LAW READ A FIRST TIME this 1st day of November, A.D. 1976
THIS BY-LAW READ A SECOND TIME this 1st day of November, A.D. 1976
THIS BY-LAW READ A THIRD TIME AND FINALLY PASSED this ~~~..day
