THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 76-46
Being a by-law imposing special annual drainage
rates upon land in respect of which money is
borrowed under The Tile Drainage Act 1971
WHEREAS Ol'mers of land in the municipality have applied to the Council
under The Tile Drainage Act, 1971, for loans for the purpose of constructing
suboosurface drainage ''1Orks on such land;
AND t-1HFREAS the Council has upon their application lent the Olmers
the total sum of $7,500. to be repaid with interest by means of rates hereinafter
imposed;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the TOlm
of Newcastle, that annual rates as set out in the Schedule attached hereto are
hereby imposed upon such land as described for a period of 10 years, such rates
to be levied and collected in the same manner as taxes;
AND FURTHERMORE that this By-law is subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board.
BY-LAW NOo 76-42 is hereby repealed.
