THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW No. 76-23
being a by-law to appoint a Chief Building
Official and Building Inspectors pursuant to
the Building Code Act 1974
THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWB:-
1.
The person shown on Schedule "A" to this by-law is hereby appointed
as Chief Building Official for the Town of Newcastle.
2.
The persons listed on Schedule "B" to this by-law are hereby
appointed Inspectors for the Town of Newcastle to perform duties
under the Ontario Building Code Act and Regulations thereunder.
3.
The person shown on Schedule "C" to this by-law is appointed an
inspector for the purpose of reviewing plans and performing
inspections related to fire access routes, fire alatms, fire
detection and supression systems and such further related
installations, equipment or systems as may be required under the
Building Code Act 1974 and the Regulations thereto.
The Clerk of the Town of Newcastle shall issue a certificate of
appointment bearing his signature or facsimile thereof to the
Chief Building Official and to each Inspector appointed by the
Town Council.
