THE CORPORAT ION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 75-81
Being a by-law to levy taxes on the Bowmanville
Memorial Hospital.
WHEREAS Section 304 of the Municipal Act (as amended) authorizes the
Council of a municipal Corporation to impose a tax levy not to exceed $50.00
per year for each rated bed on a public Hospital within the municipality.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to The Municipal Act R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284,
Section 304 as amended, the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as
follows:-
I. THAT the Tax Collector levy taxes on the Bowmanville Memorial
Hospital at the rate of $50.00 per rated bed on one hundred and
twenty-nine (129) beds for a total tax of six thousand four
hundred and fifty dollars ($6,450.00) for the year 1975.
