BY-LAW NUMBER 7~-72
A by-law to amend Zoning By-law Number 2111 of
the former Township of Darlington
WHEREAS Sievert Jansma and Boujke Jansma did by Indenture dated
the 14th day of March 1975, grant and convey to the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle, a parcel of land comprising part of Lot Eight-
een of the Fifth Concession of the Geographic Township of Darlington,
now in the Town of Newcastle, for the purpose of a Public Highway;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Newcastle did, on June 16,
1975, pass By-law 75-44 dedicating said lands, more particularly des-
cribed as Parts One and Two according to Plan lOR449, as a Public
Highway which was thereby named "King Street";
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of New-
castle deems it advisable to amend by-law number 2111 of the former
Township of Darlington, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle ENACTS as follows:
1. Key Map 13 of SChedule "Au to By-law 2111 is here-
by amended by changing to Class A Public Street
the designation of the section of the road shown
as "CHANGE TO CLASS A PUBLIC STREET" on the att-
ached SChedule "X" hereto.
2. This By-law shall become effective on the date
hereof subject to receiving the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board.
