BY-LAW NO. 75-65
A by-law to establish a Community
Recreation Centre at Bowmanville High
School Tennis Courts.
WHEREAS the Community Recreation Centres Act, 1974,
provides in Section 2 (1) that the Council of any Municipality may,
by by-law provide for the establishment of one or more community
recreation centres in accordance with the said Act and may acquire
by purchase, lease or otherwise real and personal property for that
purpose:
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle is
desirous of establishing a community recreation centre at
Bowmanville High School, Liberty St. N., Bowmanville, Ontario:
THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:

1. That a community recreation centre defined as
Tennis Courts be established and operated by the
Corporation pursuant to the provisions of the
Community Recreation Centres Act, 1974.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute all documents necessary to
give effect to the foregoing.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME and finally passed
