By-Law Noo 75-36
Being a by-law' to authorise the expenditure of
$35,000 by the Newccstle Public Utilities
Commission and the issue of debentures for same
WHEREAS the Newcastle Public Utilities Commission has requested Council to
debenture an amount of $35,000 on behalf of the Commissiono The sum of $35,000
to be used for the construction of ne~l 5,000 K.Wo Substation;
AND WHEREAS such Capital Expenditures and Debentures is authorised by
Section 354(1) (53) of the ~funicipal Act (R.SoOo 1970 C. 284, S. 354 (1) (53)
and Section 69 of the Power Commission Act R"SoOo 1970 C. 35l~ So 69(1);
NOW THEREFOR the Council of the Corporation of the To,~ of Newcastle hereby
enacts as follows:-
10 That the Newcastle PoUoCo be authorised to expend the sum of $35,000 for
nC\'l 5,000 Ko rlo Substationo
2.
That the said amount be debenturcd over a term of ten yearso
3. That the Principal and Interest be recovered proportionally over the ten
yoar period from the sale of 21cctric power through the applicable rates.
