THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NIDvCASTLE
By-La\V' No. 75-11
WHEREAS by Agreement dated the Ninth day of December, 1969, between
Ontario Hydro and the Corporation of the Township of Darlington (which Agreement
is hereinafter called "The Street Lighting Agreement"), the Corporation contracted
with the Ontario Hydro for the lighting of streets in that area of the Town as
described in the Corporation of the Township of Darlington By-Law No. 2425;
AND WHER:AS the Corporation desires that the Street Lighting Agreement
shall also apply to an additional area in the Town as hereinafter described;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the TOlltl of Newcastle
enacts as follows:-
10 THAT the Street Lighting Agreement shall apply to that additional area in
the To~ltl as hereinafter described, namely:
In the Hamlet of Newtonville and upon the following Streets:
- Church Street
- Hill Street
- Regional Road No. 18
- Jones Avenue
- King I s Highw' ay No 0 2
- Mill Street
20 THAT 100% of the coot incurred by the Corporation under the Street Lighting
Agreement for the lighting of ctreetc in the said additional area shall be
assessed and levied on the rateable property in the areao
30 THAT 0% of the cost so incurred by theCorporation shall be paid by the
Corporationo
