THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law NoD 75-10
vrnER~\S by Agreement dated the Ninth day of December, 1969, between
Ontario Hydro and the Corporation of the To,~ship of Darlington (which Agreement
is hereinafter called "The Street Lighting Agreement"), the Corporation contracted
with the Ontario Hydro for the lighting of streets in that area of the Town as
described in the Corporation of the TO'1UShip of Darlington By-Law NoD 2425;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation desires that the Street Lighting Agreement
shall also apply to an additional area in the Town us hereinafter described;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the To'~ of Newcastle
enacts as follows:
1.
THAT the Street Lighting Agreement shall apply to that additional area in
the Township as hereinafter described, namely:
In the Hamlet of Kendal and upon the following Streets:
_ Durham Regional Road NoD 18
- l10nck Street
- Mill Street
- Water Street
- Dickey Street
- Queen Street
- King Street
- Church Street

THAT 100% of the cost incurred by the Corporation under the Street Lighting
'~reement for the lighting of streets in the said additional area shall be
assessed and levied on the rateable property in the areao
3.
THAT 0% of the cost so incurred by the Corporation shall be paid by the
Corporationo
