By-Law No. 79- 61 Being a by-law to amend By-Law No. 75-23 being a by-law to designate certain Highways within The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as "Through Highways". WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend By-Law No. 75-23, passed by the said Council on the 17th day of March, 1975. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby ENACTS as fo1lows:- (1) That Schedule "H" of By-Law No. 75-23 be amended by deleting the following: - "Item Column I HIGHWAY Church Street Column II BETWEEN the east limit of Division Street and the west limit of Durham Regional Road No. 14 (Liberty Street). 6 the east limit of Durham Regional Road No. 14 (Liberty Street and the north limit of King's Highway No. 2 (King Street)" (2) That Schedule "H" of By-Law No. 75-23 be amended by adding the following: - "Item Column I HIGHWAY Church Street Column II BETWEEN the east limit of Scugog Street to the west limit of Temperance Street 6 the east limit of Temperance Street to the west limit of Durham Regional Road No. 14 (Liberty Street). Church Street. and St. George Street the east limit of Durham Regional Road 14 to the north limit of King's Highway No. 2< (King Street). :- (3) This by-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved by the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham and when signs to ~ L~ the effect are erected. ~~ By-Law Read a first and second time this 16th day of July, 1979 . . 1d:.
