'IRE CORroRATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 79-17
Being a by-law to stop up and close parts of
Lots 31 and 32, Eighth Concession, Geographic
'Ibwnship of Clarke, former County of Durham,
designated as Parts II, 12 and 13 on Plan
IOR-915.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the 'Ibwn of Newcastle deEmS
it desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of Council to pass the said by-law in
accordance with the requirements of Section 446 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1970, Chapter 284, was published in the Orono Weekly Times on the following
dates:-
February 14th, 1979,
February 2lst, 1979 ,
February 28th, 1979, and
March 7th, 1979.

AND WHEREAS notice of ithe intention of the Council to pass this by-law
was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham on the
7th day of February, 1979, and the Regional Council has granted approval to
the proposed by-law.
NOW 'IHEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY -LAW OF THE
mRroRATION OF THE TO'VN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOUOWS:-
I. Those portions of the road allowance in the Town of Newcastle hereinafter
described are hereby stopped up and closed:-
AIL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle,
Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and
being composed of all that portion of a travelled road
running through the northerly part of Lots Thirty-one (31)
and Thirty-too (32) in the Eighth Concession of the Geographic
'Ibwnship of Clarke, former County of Durham, rrore particularly
designated as Parts Eleven (II), 'IWelve (12) and Thirteen (13)
according to Plan 10R-915 deposited in the Land Registry Office
for the Registry Division of Newcastle (#10) on January 5th,
1979.
