THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 79-117
being a by-law to stop up and close part of
travelled road within Lot 32, Ninth Concession,
Geographic Township of Clarke, former County of
Durham, designated as Part 3 on Plan 10R-915
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
deems it desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of Council to pass the said by-law
in accordance with the requirements of Section 446 of the
Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, was published in the
Orono Times on the following dates:
October 3 1979, October 10 1979, October 17 1979, October 24 1979

AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law
was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham,
on the 7th day of June 1979, and the Regional Council has granted
approval to the proposed by-law.
NOW THEREFOR BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWeASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That portion of the road allowance in the Town of Newcastle
hereinafter described is hereby stopped up and closed:
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract
of land and premises situate, lying and being
in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality
of Durham, Province of Ontario, and being
composed of all that portion of a travelled road
running through the Southerly part of Lot 32, in the
ninth Concession of the Geographic Township of Clarke,
former County of Durham, more particularly designated as
Part 3 according to Plan 10R-915 deposited in the Land
Registry Office for the Registry Division of Newcastle
(#10) on January 5th, 1979.
2. That portion of the road allowance hereinbefore described shall
be conveyed by the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to abutting
owners.
