WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle passed By-law 79-89, being a By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law Number 1592, as amended, of the former Township of Clarke; AND WHEREAS Section 1 of the said By-law 79-89 incorrectly located the subject lands; ~. AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle wishes to amend By-law 79-89 to apply the provision of the "A-8" zone to part of Lot 34, Concession 3, former Township of Clarke. NOW THEREFORE .the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle ENACTS as follows: 1. Section 1 of By-law 79-89 is hereby deleted and replaced by the following Section 1: "(g) "A-8" - Lot 34, Concession 3 In addition to the uses referred to in Section 10.1 hereof, that part of Lot 34, Concession 3 which is designated "A-8" on Schedule "A" hereto may be used for the purposes of an apple storage and packing building and accessory business office." i '. ~, . . - 2 - , 2. Smith, M.C.I.P., Director of Planning DATE: October 9, 1979 SUBJECT: By-law 79-89 (Williams Grove Orchards) It has been brought to our attention that the text of By-law 79-89, which rezoned the property owned by Williams Grove Orchards from "Agriculture" to "A-8", incorrectly located the property in Lot 32, Concession 2, instead of Lot 34, Concession 3. It is noted that the correct description appeared in the staff report, the notice of purpose and effect prepared by this Department, and Schedule "X" attached to the By-law. .i~-" :"\~ , ,A In order to correct this discrepancy in By-law 79-89, it is sug- gested that Council approve the attached By-law, which amends By-law 79-89 by correcting the legal description of the site.
