By-Law 81-9
being a by-law to aroond By-Law 79-B7 being a by-law to
establish a Board of Managezoont to operate a Im.1Seum on
its behalf (Bowmanvi11e Museum)
WHEREAS on the 30th day of July 1979 the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle passed By-Law 79-B7 to establish a Board of Managanent
to operate a museum on its behalf (Bowmanvil1e Museum)
AND WHEREAS Section 3 (a) of the said by-law provided that the Board shall
consist of two manbers of Council and five other members who are qualified
to be elected as members of Council
AND WHEREAS Council deenE it desirable to aroond By-Law 79-B7 to provide that
the Board shall consist of two menbers of Council and seven other Irembers who
are qualified to be elected as members of Council.

THEREFOR the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACIS AS FOilDWS:

1. That Section 3(a) of By-Law 79-B7 be amended to read as follows:
3(a) The Board shall consist of two menbers of Council and
Seven other members who are qualified to be elected as
members of Council each of whom shall be appointed by
Council.
By-Law read a first, second and third time this 12th day of January 1981.
