THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 81- 88
A By-Law to Appoint a Treasurer
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1.
That Kathryn A. Campbell is hereby appointed
Treasurer of the Town of Newcastle during
the pleasure of Council.
2.
That Kathryn A. Campbell shall be paid
for her services such sum annually in
accordance with the terms and conditions
as set out Schedule "A" attached hereto.

By-Law read a first time this 20th day of July, 1981.
By-Law read a second time this 20th day of July, 1981.
By-Law read a third and final time this 20th day
of July, 1981.

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW 81- 88

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
APPOINTMENT OF KATHRYN A.
CAMPBELL
The following shall be the terms and conditions
of the employment of Kathryn A. Campbell as Treasurer,
Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective August 1st, 1981, Kathryn A. Campbell
shall commence her employment with the Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle as Treasurer;
2. The duties and responsibilities of the
Treasurer are those established by By-law
81- 87 as may be amended from time to time;
.
3. Kathryn A. Campbell shall be remunerated at a
rate to be established in accordance with the
Salary Administration Policy for non-affiliated
staff currently being developed by Thorne
Stevenson & Kellogg and, failing the adoption
of a policy, at such rate as may be agreed
between Council and Kathryn A. Campbell. Salary
adjustments shall be made from time to time
in accordance with the Salary Administration
Program and, failing the adoption of a policy
by Council, the salary of Kathryn A. Campbell shall
be reviewed annually;
4. Kathryn A. Campbell shall be entitled to
receive any salary adjustment granted to the
position of Deputy-Treasurer retroactive to June
1st, 1981, on a pro rata basis for the period
of time that she served as Deputy-Treasurer for the
year 1981;
5. Kathryn A. Campbell shall be entitled to all
other employee benefits enjoyed by all other
department heads as may be determined from time
to time.
