THE mRPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 81-74
1Jeing a by-law to stop up and close and authorize the conveyance of that
part of the road allowance bet~en lots 6 and 7, Concession 4, according
to Plan 10Rl250, Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it
desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intEntion of the Council to pass the said by-law in
accordance with the requirements: of Section 446 of The Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, was published in the Canadian StateffilaIl on
the following dates: May 6 1981, May 13 1981, May 20 1981 and May 27 1981
AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law was
sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham, on the 4th day
of May 1981, and the Region has granted approval to the proposed by-law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACl'ED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACl'ED AS A BY-LAW OF THE
CDRroRATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLlDWS:
1. That part of the road allowance in the Town of Newcastle hereinafter
described are hereby stopped up and closed:
ALL AND SINGUlAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises
situate, lying and being in the 'Ibwn of Newcastle, Regional
Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and 1Jeing composed
of all that portion of the original side line road allowance 1JetV\een
lots Six (6) and Seven (7) in the Fourth Concession of the Geographic
'Ibwnship of Darlington, fonner County of Durham, rrore particularly
designated as Parts One (1), Tho (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six
(6), Seven (7), Eight (8) and Nine (9), according to Plan 10R1250,
deposited in the land Registry Office for the Registry Division of
Newcastle (#10) on February 18 1981.
2. Those portions of the road allowance herein1Jefore descri1Jed shall 1Je
conveyed by The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to abutting owners.
By-Law read a first and second time this 1st day of June
1981.
By-Law read a second and third time this 1st day of June
1981.
