THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 81 - 49
being a by-law to stop up and close and authorize
the conveyance of the whole of an unnamed street
lying between the most Northerly Village Lot Four (4),
Block 14, and Lot 5, Block Z, C. G. Hanning's Plan,
Fifth (5) Concession of the Geographic Township of
Clarke, more particularly designated as Parts 1 (One),
2 (Two), 3 (Three) and 4 (Four) on Reference Plan 10Rl188.
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
deems it desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to paps the said by-law

in accordance with the requirements of Section 446 of The Municipal (
Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, was published in the Orono Weekly Times
on the following dates: April 1 1981, April 8 1981, April 15 1981
April 22 1981
. AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law
was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham,
on the 23rd day of March 1981, and the Regional Council has granted
approval to the proposed by-law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Those portions of the road allowance in the Town of Newcastle
hereinafter described are hereby stopped up and closed:

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of
land and premises situate, lying and being in the Town
of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham, Province
of Ontario, and being composed of the whole of an
unnamed street lying between the most Northerly Village
Lot Four (4) Block 14, and Lot Five (5), Block Z, on
the West side of Mill Street according to C. G. Hanning's
Plan of the former Village of Orono, forming part of original
Township Lot Twenty-Eight (28) in the Fifth Concession of the
Geographic Township of Clarke, more particularly designated
as Parts 1 (One), 2 (Two), 3 (Three) and 4 (Four), according
to Plan 10Rl188, deposited in the Land Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Newcastle (#10) on September 19 1980.
3. Those portions of the road allowance hereinbefore described shall
be conveyed by The Corporation of, the Town of Newcastle to abutting owners.
By-Law read a first and second time this 4th day of May 1981.
By-Law read a third and final time this 4th day of May 1981.
