THE CORroRATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 81-19
being a by-law to amend By-Law 77-33 being a by-law
to designate an area in the Bowmanville Central
Business District as an Improvement Area and to
establish a Board of Management for the Bowmanville
Central Business Improvement Area
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
passed By-Law 77-33 on the 16th day of May 1977, and
WHEREAS the Board of Management for the Bowmanville Central Business
District Improvement Area has requested that the said By-Law 77-33 be
amended to provide that Council shall not approve any estimates
submitted in an annual budget of the Board in excess of the sum of
$35,000, and

WHEREAS Council deems it desirable to amend said by-law as requested,
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby
enacts as follows:
THAT Section 16 of By-Law 77-33 be and is hereby
enacted to read as follows:
Council shall not approve any estimates submitted in an
annual budget of the Board in excess of the sum of
$35,000.
By-Law read a first and second time this 26th day of January 1981.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 26th day of
January 1981.
