THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 81-168
being a by-law to appoint a Confidential
Secretary to the Planning and Development
Department
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That L. Day is hereby appointed Confidential Secretary
to the Planning and Development Department of the Town
of Newcastle during the pleasure of Council.

2. That L. Day shall be paid for her services each sum
annually, in accordance with the terms and conditions
as set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
By-Law read a first time this Ninteenth day of October 1981.
By-Law read a second time this Ninteenth day of October 1981.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this Ninteenth day
of October 1981.

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW 81-168
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT
OF L. DAY
The following shall be ther terms and conditions of the employment
of Mrs. L. Day as "Confidential Secretary to the Planning and
Development Department" of the Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective October 15 1981, Mrs. L. Day shall
commence her duties with the Town of Newcastle
as "Confidential Secretary to the Planning
and Development Department of the Town of
Newcastle".
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Secretary
to the Planning and Development Department are
those established by By-Law No. 81-168 as may be
amended from time to time.
3. Mrs. L. Day shall be remunerated in accordance
with the Town's policy in respect of the compensation
for non-affiliated staff and more specifically,
shall be paid a Salary Grade (3), starting rate.
4. Mrs. L. Day shall be entitled to all other employee
benefits enjoyed by all other non-affiliated
staff as may be determined from time to time.
