THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE

BY-LAW NO. 81- 140
Being a by-law to appoint a Confidential
Secretary to the Chief Administrative
Officer
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That A. D. O'Flaherty is hereby appointed
Confidential Secretary to the Chief
Administrative Officer of the Town of
Newcastle during the pleasure of Council.
2. That A. D. O'Flaherty shall be paid
for her services such sum annually, in
acc~rdance with the terms and conditions
as set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.

BY-LAW READ a first time this 21st day of September, 1981.
BY-LAW READ a second time this 21st day of September, 1981.
BY-LAW READ a third time and FINALLY PASSED this 21st day
of September, 1981.

SCHEDULE "A"
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT
OF A. D. O'FLAHERTY
The following shall be the terms and conditions
of the employment of Mrs. A. D. O'Flaherty as "Confidential
Secretary to the Chief Administrative Officer" of the
Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective October 5th, 1981, Mrs. A. D.
O'Flaherty shall commence her duties
with the Town of Newcastle as "Confidential
Secretary to the Chief Administtative
Officer of the Town of Newcastle".
2. The duties and responsibilities of the
secretary to the Chief Administrative
Officer are those established by
By-Law No. 81-140 , as may be amended
from time to time.
3. Mrs. A. D. O'Flaherty shall be remunerated
in accordance with the Town's policy in
respect of the compensation for non-
affiliated staff and more specifically,
shall be paid a Salary Grade (5), job
rate.
4. Mrs. A. D. O'Flaherty shall be entitled
to all other employee benefits enjoyed
by all other non-affiliated staff as may
be determined from time to time.
