THE OORroRATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 81-10
being a by-law to amend By-Law 79-68 being a by-law to
establish a Board of ManageJrent to operate a museum on
its behalf (Clarke Museum)
WHEREAS on the 30th day of July 1979 the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle passed By-Law 79-68 to establish a Board of
Managerrent to operate a museum on its behalf (Clarke Museum)
AND WHEREAS Section 3 (a) of the said by-law provided that the Board
shall consist of two IIBIi:>ers of Council and five other rrembers who are
qualified to be elected as nerrbers of Council
AND WHEREAS Council deans it desirable to amend By-Law 79-68 to provide
that the Board shall consist of two IOOnbers of Council and seven other
roombers who are qualified to be elected as members of Council.

'IHERE:FOR the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACIS AS FOlLOWS:
1. That Section 3 (a) of By-Law 79-68 be amended to read as follows:
3(a) The Board shall consist of two marbers of Council and
seven other menbers who are qualified to be elected as
rneniJers of Council each of whom shall be appointed to
Council.
2. That By-Law 80-65 be and is hereby repealed.
By-Law read a first, second and third time this 12th day of January 1981.
