THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 83- 97
being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Amending Agreement
with Real Time Datapro Limited for the provision of a Variance Analysis
program and a Clerk's On-line Information System.
The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor and Clerk are herby authorized to execute
on behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle and
seal with the Corporation Seal an Amending Agreement between
Real Time Datapro Limited and the said Corporation dated the

attached hereto as Schedule "X".
By-Law read a first and second time this 27th day of June, 1983.
By-Law read a third and final time this 27th day of June, 1983.

Dear Kathryn:
As a result of our recent meeting in your office, I am pleased
to submit to you this correspondence which will serve as an
addendum to our Agreement No: 3237 dated January 25, 1982.
As discussed, this letter is in respect to the installation
and implementation of the General Ledger Variance Report
Generator.
The following are the one-time and recurring charges for this
system.
i.
Implementation of the General Ledger Variance Report
Generator

Implementation Charge: This one-time cost is incurred
for the implementation of the Variance Report Generator,
and includes all the technical systems and programming
support, the implementation of the system, and user
department education and on-going support:
$1,000.00
ii. Recurring Charges:
a. Fixed monthly cost for system....... $100.00
b. Printing of reports................. $6.50/1000 lines
c. Cost of stock extra.

It is understood that the implementation schedule of this
system will be effective June 1, 1983, after this addendum
has been accepted and approved by the TOwn of Newcastle.

(Label) System, and includes all the technical systems
and programming support, the implementation of the system,
and user department education and on-going support:

(a) Generation and printing of sequential roll
number labels overnight to be printed locally
or at Real Time, Don Mills

Cost of stock, forms, labels is extra.
Also as discussed, this system will allow access to the
Municipal Standard Assessment System (S.A.S.) data, by use
Cf a visual display unit for the purpose of on-line inquiry
of assessment roll information only, such as, Roll No.
Owner/Tenant, addresses, property data pertaining to size
and assessment dollars.

This unique system will, I am sure, be the solution to
limiting access to your data base for non-treasury personnel.
It is understood that the implementation schedule of this
system will be effective immediately after this addendum has
been accepted and approved by the Town of Newcastle.
