THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO.83-49
being a by-law to stop up and close and authorize
the conveyance of Parts 2 & 3, Plan 10R-1378 and
Parts 1 & 2, Plan 10R-1470, being that portion of
Bond Street, between Blocks '0' and 'Q', C. G.
Hanning's Plan of the former Village of Newcastle
WHEREAS the Council of The Corp@nation of the Town of Newcastle deems it
desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to pass the said by-law in
accordance with the requirements of Section 301, Chapter 302 of The Municipal
Act, R.S.O. 1980, was published in the Newcastle Reporter
on March 2, March 9, March 16, March 23, 1983.
AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law was
sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham, on the
24th day of February 1983, and the Regional Council by letter
dated the 8th day of March 1983, granted approval to the proposed
by-law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOllOWS:
1. All that portion of the original side line road allowance in the Town
of Newcastle hereinafter described are hereby stopped up and closed:
ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or
tracts of land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Newcastle, in the
Regional Municipality of Durham, Province
of Ontario, and being composed of Bond
Street, lying between Blocks '0' and 'Q',
according to C. G. Hanning's Plan of Part
Lot Twenty-Seven (27) in the Broken Front
Concession of the former Village of Newcastle,
more particularly designated as follows:
FIRSTLY all of Parts Two (2) and Three (3)
according to Plan 10R-1378; and deposited in
the Land Registry Office for the Registry
Division of Newcastle (NO. 10) on October
8th 1981;
SECONDLY all of Parts One (1) and Two (2)
according to Plan 10R-1470 and deposited in
the Land Registry Office for the Registry
Division of Newcastle (NO. 10), on May 11th
1982.
2. All those portions of that portion of Bond Street, hereinbefore described
shall be conveyed by The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to abutting
owners.
By-law read a first and second time this 28thday of March 1983.
By-law read a third and final time this 28th day of March 1983.
