THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO .83-35
being a by-law to stop up and close and to
authorize the sale of all that portion of
the original road allowance between Lots 12
13, Concession 1 in the former Town of
Bowmanville
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of New-
castle deems it desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to pass the
said by-law in accordance with the requirements of Section 301,
Chapter 302 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, was published
in the Canadian Statesman
on F~bruary 2nd, February 9th, February 16th & February 23rd, 1983.
AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass
this by-law was sent by registered mail to the Regional Muni-
cipality of Durham on the
25th
day of
January
1983, and the Regional Municipality of Durham granted
approval of the proposed by-law by letter dated the 11th
day of
February , 1983;
NOW THEREFOR BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A
BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. All that portion of the original road allowance between
Lots 12 and 13, Concession 1 in the former Town of Bowmanville
hereinafter described is hereby stopped up and closed:
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract
of land and premises situate, lying and being
in the Town of Newcastle, in the Regional Muni-
cipality of Durham and being composed of part
of the original road allowance between Lots 12
and 13, Concession 1 of the former Town of Bow-
manville, more particularly designated as
Parts 10, 16, 19, 20 and 25 according to
Plan 10R-1543 deposited in the Land Registry
Office for the Registry Division of Newcastle
(No. 10) on October 29, 1982

2. All that portion of the said road allowance hereinbefore
described shall be conveyed by The Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle to abutting owners.
