THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 83-33
being a by-law to amend Tariff IIA" of
By-law 74-72, being a by-law for the
establishing of rates and fares to be
charged by the owners or drivers of
taxi cabs or other vehicles used for
hi re
WHEHEAS, th~ Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, deems it
advisable to further amend By-law No. 74-72, as amended, by ny-ldw No. 80-11;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corproation of the Town of Newcastle hereby
enacts as follows:
1. That Tariff "All to By-law No. 74....72, as amended by By-law No. 80-11, is
hereby further amended by deleting Tariff "All therefrom dnd substituting
the following revised Tariff IIAII therefore.

RATES BY DISTANCE IN MILES
One to Four Passengers
for the first one-tenth (1/10) mile or part thereof
for each additional one-tenth (1/10) mile or part thereof
for waiting time while under engagement for one (1) minute
for each additional passenger, adult or child (except
babies in arms) a flat charge of

Except that reduced rate may be granted to Senior Citizens.
