CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 83-164 being a by-law of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to appoint a Platoon Chief The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That Mr. David Gregg Corden is hereby appointed Platoon Chief with the Town of Newcastle; 2. That Mr. David Gregg Corden shall be paid for his services in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in Schedule "AIt attached hereto; 3. That Mr. David Gregg Corden shall commence his duties as Platoon Chief on December 5 1983. Clerk Mayor I File No._.._)f2:..lQ..~!1..'l_._._.._1 . ~ SCHEDULE "AIt TO BY -LAW 83-164 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OF DAVID GREGG CORDEN AS PLATOON CHIEF, TOWN OF NEWCASTLE The following shall be the terms and conditions of employment of Mr. David Gregg Corden as Platoon Chief, Town of Newcastle, namely: 1. Effective December 5 1983, Mr. David Gregg Corden shall commence his employment with the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as Platoon Chief; 2. The duties and responsibilities of the those established by By-Law #83-163 to time; Platoon Chief are as may be amended from time 3. Mr. Corden shall be remunerated at Grade 9, Step 4 of the salary administration program for non-affiliated staff and shall be entitled to all other benefits accorded to non-union staff from time to time; 4. Mr. Corden's employment as Platoon Chief shall be conditional on a three month probationary period, at the expiration of which his performance shall be evaluated by the Fire Chief and Chief Administrative Officer. If in their opinions his performance is not satisfactory, then his services may be terminated.
