HomeMy WebLinkAbout83-145 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 83-145 being a by-law to authorize the conveyance of those portions of the road allowance between Concessions 8 and 9 adjacent to Lots 31 and 32 in the Geographic Township of Clarke, now in the Town of Newcastle previously stopped up and closed by By-law 81-4 WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle did, on the 12th day of January 1981, enact By-law 81-4, which By-law authorized the stopping up and closing of the unopened road allowance between Concession 8 and 9 adjacent to Lots 31 and 32 in the Geographic Township of Clarke, now in the Town of Newcastle; AND WHEREAS application has been received from the owners abutting the unopened road allowance closed by By-law 81-4, requesting that the unopened road allowance now stopped up and closed be conveyed by the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to the abutting owners; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS: 1. All those portions of the unopened road allowance stopped up and closed by By-law 81-4 hereinafter described shall be conveyed by the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to the abutting owners. ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and being composed of: FIRSTLY, all that portion of the original road allowance between Concessions Eight and Nine adjacent to Lot Thirty-two (32) in the Geographic Township of Clarke, former County of Durham, more particularly designated as Parts Nine (9) and Ten (10) according to Plan 10R915. SECONDLY, all that portion of the original road allowance between Concessions Eight (8) and Nine (9) adjacent to Lots Thirty-one (31) and Thirty-two (32) in the Geographic Township of Clarke, former County of Durham, more particularly designated as Parts One (1), Two (2), Three (3), and Four (4) according to Pl an 10R1201.
