HomeMy WebLinkAbout83-103 '" . \ '-~". ~ <, THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW NUMBER 83-103 being a By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law 1592, as amended, of the former Township of Clarke, now in the Town of Newcastle. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 1592, as amended, of the former Township of Clarke, pursuant to the provisions of Section 16.6.5 of the Durham Regional Official Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows: 1. Section 10.3 of By-law 1592, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting Subsection d) entitled "A_4 - Lot 14, Concession 6" in its entirety, and by adding the following new Subsection (i): "(i) A-10 - Part of Lot 14, Concession 6 In addition to the uses referred to in section 10.1 hereof, that Part of Lot 14, Concession 6, which is designated IIA-IO" on Schedule II A" hereto may be used in accordance with the following provisions. i) Permitted Uses an existing retail shop for the sale of antiques and crafts; a tea-room or tea-garden ancillary to the retail shop; a business office ancillary to the retail shop; a snack-bar ancillary to the retail shop ii) Zone Provisions a) lot area (minimum) b) 1 at frontage (mi nimum) c) front yard (minimum) d) interior side yard (minimum) e) exterior side yard (minimum) f) rear yard (minimum) g) lot coverage (maximum) 4.0 hectares 45.0 metres 7.5 metres 15.0 metres 15.0 metres 15.0 metres 2 Per Cent 2. Schedule "A" to By-law 1592, as amended, of the former Township of Clarke is hereby further amended by changing to A-10 the zone designation of the lands designated "Z0NE CHANGE TO A-lO" on the attached Schedule "X" hereto. 3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 39(12) of the Planning Act. Oakes, hereby certify that the notice for By-law Number 83-103 of The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, passed by Council of the Corporation on the 11th day of July 1983, was given in the manner and form and to the persons prescribed by regulations made by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council under Subsection 25 of Section 39 of The Planning Act. I also certify that the 21 day objection period expired on August 22nd 1983, and to this date no notice of objection or request for a change in the provisions of the by-law has been filed by any person in the office of the Clerk.
