THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 84-82
being a By-law to amend By-law Number 2111, as amended, of the former
Township of Darlington, now in the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend Restricted Area By-law Number 2111, as amended,
of the former Township of Darlington, now in the Town of Newcastle.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 13 of By-law 2111, as amended, is hereby further amended
by adding thereto the following subsection (fff):
"(fff) Part of Lot 32, Concession 2
Notwithstanding any provision of this By-law to the contrary
that Part of Lot 32, Concession 2, designated as "SPECIAL
PROVISION BY-LAW 84- 82 II on the attached Schedule "A" here-
to shall only be used in accordance with the following pro-
visions.
(i) Definition
Park, Greenbelt - shall mean a lot or block of land, the
main purpose of which shall be the protection of open space
areas and natural water courses and which may also be used
for recreational activities, including playing and athletic
fields, but excluding any buildings or structures.
(ii) Permitted Uses
No person shall, within an Urban Residential Type One (1)
(Rl) Zone, use any land or erect, alter or use any building
or structure except as specified hereunder:
a. Residential Uses
i) a single detached dwelling;
b. Environmental Protection (EP) Zone
- greenbelt, parks
- storm water, flood and erosion control facilities
(iii) Zone Provisions
a. Lot Area (minimum)
i) single detached dwell i ng 460 square metres
b. Lot Frontage Interior Lot (minimum)
i) single detached dwelling 15 metres
c. Lot Frontage Exterior Lot (minimum)
i) single detached dwelling 16 metres

2. Schedule IIAII to By-law 2111, as amended, is hereby
further amended by changi ng to II SPECIAL PROVISION BY -LAW 84- ~II ,
the zone designation of the lands designated IIS,PECIAL PROVISION
BY-LAW 84-82 II on the attached Schedule IIXII hereto.
3. Schedules IIXII and IIX_11I attached hereto shall form part of said
By-law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date hereof, subject
to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, as amended.
