THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 84-72
being a by-law to dedicate certain lands as
a Public Highway in the Town of Newcastle
BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION
OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE, BY THE COUNCIL THEREOF, AS FOLLOWS:
The following land is hereby established as a public highway known as King
Street East,(King's Highway No.2) in the former Town of Bowmanville, now
within the Limits of the Town of Newcastle.
The said lands hereby established as a Public Highway are described as follows:
1. ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises, situate
lying and being in the Town of Newcastle in the Regional Municipality of
Durham, being all that portion of Town Lot 2 according to C.G. Hanning's
Plan of Part of Lot 9 in the First Concession of the former Town of
Bowmanville more particularly designated as Part 6, Registered Reference
Plan 10R-1732, deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Registry
Division of Newcastle (No. 10) on November 17th 1983.
2. ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises,
situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle in the Regional Municipality
of Durham, being all that portion of Town Lot 2 according to C. G. Hanning's
Plan of Part of Lot 9 in the First Concession of the former Town of
Bowmanville, more particularly described as Part 2 on Plan RD64, deposited
in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Newcastle (No. 10)
on October 27th 1970.
By-law read a first and second time this 14th day of May 1984.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 14th day of May 1984.
