HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-31 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW NUMBER 84- 31 being a By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law 2111, as amended, of the former Township of Darlington, now in the Town of Newcastle. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend Restricted Area By-law 2111, as amended, of the former Township of Darlington, now in the Town of Newcastle. NOW THEREFORE, the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows: 1. Section 13 of By-law 2111, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following subsection (zz): "(zz) Part of Lot 7, Concession 2 Notwithstanding any provision of this By-law to the contrary, that part of Lot 7, Concession 2, designated as "SPECIAL PROVISION BY-LAW 84- 31 II on the attached Schedule "X" hereto, shall be used only in-accordance with the following provisions. The Block Numbers cited herein refer to Block Numbers on Schedule "X_l" hereto. (i) DEFINITIONS (a) School, Private: - shall mean a school other than a public school or a commercial school as otherwise defined or classified i nth i s By - 1 a w . (ii) PERMITTED USES (a) Block 1: - no person shall use, erect, place or alter any building, structure, septic tank, or tile bed on, or alter any lands within that area defined as Block 1, save and except for flood and erosion control works. (b) Blocks 2 and 3: - a private school, and uses, buildings and structures accessory thereto. Schedule "A" to By-law 2111, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing to "SPECIAL PROVISION BY-LAW 84-..JL", the zone designation of the lands designated "SPECIAL PROVISION BY-LAW 84-....3.L-" on the attached Schedule "X" hereto. 3. Schedul es "X" and "X-l" attached hereto shall form a part of said By-law. 4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of The Planning Act, as amended. BY-LAW read a first time this 27th day of February 1984.
