BY-LAW 84- 25
being a by-law to appoint Live Stock Valuers and
fix their remuneration
WHEREAS Section 11(1) of The Dog Licensing and Live Stock and
Poultry Protection Act, Chapter 123, R.S.O. 1980, provides that the
Council of ,every Municipality shall appoint one or more persons as
valuers of live stock and poultry for the purposes of this Act.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. That the fOllowing are hereby appointed as Live Stock and
Poultry Valuers under the authority and for the purposes of
the Dog Tax and Live Stock and Poultry Protection Act;
Mr. Sidney Worden
Mr. Arnott Wotten
Mr. Henry (Harry) Worrall
2. That the said Valuers shall receive the sum of Twenty Dollars
($20.00) per diem when actually engaged in performing their duties
as Live Stock Valuers.
3. That By-law 83-55 of the Town of Newcastle is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 13th day of February 1984.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 13th day of February 1984.
