THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 84- 135
being a by-law to authorize the execution
of correcting deeds in favour of the Regional
Municipality of Durham. respecting certain
lands assumed under the Region of Durham Act
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to executet on
behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle and seal with
the Corporation Sealt correcting deeds in favour of the Regional
Municipality of Durham with respect to certain lands assumed by
the Regional Municipality of Durham under the Region of Durham
Act.
2. j The lands referred to herein are:
(a) Bowmanville Water Supply Plant
(b) Soper Creek Water Pollution Control Plant
(c) Skinner Springs
(d) Mackie Creek Well
(e) Equalizing Tanks
(f) Bowmanville Elevated Tank
(g) Soper Creek Pumping Station
(h) Sanitary Landfill Site
3. The lands referred to herein are described in the copies of the
deeds hereto annexed as Schedules (a) to (h) and form part of
this by-law.
