THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 84-107
being a by-law to authorize execution of a
contract with Tony Leite Roofing (Reroofing
of Police and Fire Building)
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS FOllOWS:
That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of
The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, and seal with the Corporation
Seal, a contract with Tony Leite Roofing, for the reroofing of the
Police and Fire Building, Bowmanville.
A copy of which contract is attached hereto as Schedule "X."
By-law read a first and second time this 3rd day of August 1984.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 3rd day of August 1984.

CONTRACT FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT OF THE
FIRE AND POLICE BUILDING
TENDER T84-13
AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made in duplicate this 7th day of August 1984
BETWEEN: Tony Leite Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd. of Toronto in the Province
of Ontario hereinafter called the "Contractor"
THE PARTY OF THE FIRST PART
- and -
The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
herei nafter ca lIed the "Purchaser"
THE PARTY OF THE SECOND PART
WITNESSETH. that the party of the first part. for and in consideration of
the payment of $40.800.00 hereby agrees to furnish all necessary machinery.
tools. equipment. supplies. labour. and other means of construction and to
the satisfaction of the Purchaser. to perform and complete such works in
strict accordance with all ter~s. conditions. and specifications of
Tender T84-13 for the roof replacement of the Fire and Police Building.
132 Church Street. Bowmanville. Ontario.
The Contractor further agrees that the work in accordance with this
agreement shall commence on August 20. 1984. with the work being performed
each consecutive weekday until completion.

The Contractor further agrees to provide a certificate of liability insurance,
a Workmen's Compensation Clearance Certificate and a One Hundred per cent (100%)
Performance Bond at no cost to the Purchaser.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Contractor and the Purchaser have hereunto signed
their names and set their seals on the day first above written.
