BY-LAW 84- 106
being a by-law to authorize execution of a
contract with Cherwill Roofing Ltd.
(Reroofing of Bowmanville Public Library)
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf
of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, and seal with the Corporation
Seal, a contract with Cherwill Roofing Ltd., for the reroofing of the
Bowmanville Public Library Building.
A copy of which contract is attached hereto as Schedule "X."
By-law read a first and second time this 3rd day of August 1984.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 3rd day of August 1984.

BOWMANVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made in duplicate this 7th day of August 1984
BETWEEN: Cherwill Roofing Ltd. of Brampton in the Province of Ontario
hereinafter called the "Contractorlt
THE PARTY OF THE FIRST PART
- and -
The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
hereinafter called the "Purchaserll
THE PARTY OF THE SECOND PART
WITNESSETH, that the party of the first part, for and in consideration 'of
the payment of $29,220.00 hereby agrees to furnish all necessary machinery,
tools, equipment, supplies, labour, and other means of construction and to
the satisfaction of the Purchaser, to perform and complete such works in
strict accordance with all terms, conditions, and specifications of
Tender T84-14 for the roof replacement of the Bowmanville Public Library,
62 Temperance Street, Bowmanville, Ontario.
The Contractor further agrees that the work in accordance with this
agr~~fueftt shall commence on August 20, 1984, with the work being performed

The Contractor further agrees to provide a certificate of liability insurance.
a Workmen's Compensation Clearance Certificate and a One Hundred per cent
(100%) Performance Bond.
