THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 91- 87
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the CoWlcil of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend By-
law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to implement the rezoning
application DEV 90-023 and to permit the use of the subject lands for a medical clinic;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the COWlcil of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 12.I"Urban Residential Type One (RI)" zone is hereby amended by adding thereto, the
following new Special Exception 12.4.28 as follows:
"12.4.28Urban Residential Exception (RI-28) zone
Notwithstanding Section 12.1, 12.2, 12.4.1 and 3.14, the lands zoned "RI-28" on the attached
Schedule "A", in addition to the other uses permitted in "Urban Residential Exception (Rl-l)"
Zone, permit the use of the existing structure for the purposes of a Medical Clinic and shall be
subject to the following zone regulations:
Exterior side yard (minimum)
Lot Frontage (minimum)
Parking spaces (minimum)
8 spaces per doctor"
2. Schedule "5" to By-law 84-63 as amended, is hereby further amended by ~h~ngjng the zone
designation from:
"Urban Residential Exception (RI-l)" to "Urban Residential Exception (R1-28)"

3. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form. part of this By-law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing hereof, subject to the provisions
of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
