THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 91-201
REPEALED BY
BY-LAW #?lj.;.!.:.l
being a by-law to repeal By-law #89-222 and
to establish the Members of Council as
Chairmen of Departments and to establish the
Order of Proceedings at the General Purpose
and Administration Committee Meetings.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following Members of Council of the Town of
Newcastle be designated as the Chairman of a Department as
follows:
(a) Planning and Development Department - Diane Hamre
(b) Clerk's Department - Mary Novak
(c) Treasury Department - John O'Toole
(d) Fire Department - Ken Hooper
(e) Community Services Department - Ann Dreslinski
(f) Public Works Department - Larry Hannah
(g) Administration - David Scott
2. THAT the Chairmanship of the General Purpose and
Administration Committee Meeting pass from Member of
Council to Member of Council in the order detailed in the
preceeding section;
3. THAT the rotation established in Section 1 remain in effect
for a period of 18 months from the date of passing;
4. THAT By-law #89-222 is hereby repealed; and
5. THAT this By-law take effect immediately on the passing
thereof.

December 1991.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 2nd day of
December 1991.
