THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 91- 104
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-
law for the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle to permit the establishment of a Lube Warehouse
and Office for the bulk sale and storage of petroleum in accordance
with DEV 91-014.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 23.3 "Special Exceptions - Light Industrial (Ml)" zone,
is hereby further amended by adding thereto the Special Exception
23.3.7 as follows:
1123.3.7 SPECIAL EXCEPTION LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (MI) ZONE
In addition to the uses permited in the Ml zone, those lands
zoned "Ml-7" on the schedules to this By-law may also be used
for underground bulk fuel tank storage, a Lube Warehouse and an
Office in accordance with all applicable provisions of the "Ml"
zone and the following:"
a)
Maximum floor space
400 square metres
2. Schedule" 3" to By-law 84-63 as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing the zone designation from IILight Industrial (MI)"
to "Holding - Light Industrial - Special Exception ((H)Ml-7)" Zone,
as indicated on Schedule "A" attached hereto.
3. Schedule "A" shall form part of this By-law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing
hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
