CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 90 - 45
being a By-law to appoint a By-law Enforcement Officer
and to repeal By-law 89-87.
WHEREAS Section 20 of The Police Act RBO 1980, Chapter 381, authorizes a Council of any
Municipality to appoint one or more By-law Enforcement OffICers, who shall be Peace Offi.cers for the
purpose of enforcing the By-laws of the Municipality; and
WHEREAS it is desirable to appoint Kennetb. Douglas Cartwright as a By-law Enforcement Officer by
By-law for the sole purpose of enforcing the Animal Control By-law as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby enacts as follows:
1. THAT Kenneth Doul1las Cartwris!ht is hereby appointed as a By-law Enforcement Officer for
the purpose of enforcing the Animal Control By-law within the Town of Newcastle.
2. By-law 89-87 is hereby repealed.
