THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 90-.12.3
being a By-law to amend By-law 76-25, being a by-law to regulate signs in the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to pass this
by-law;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 11, "Special Conditions" is hereby amended by adding thereto, the following Special
Condition 11 as follows:
SPECIAL CONDITION 11
11.1 Defmed Area
The lands subject to this SPECIAL CONDITION comprise Block A, Lot 1, Part Lot 2
and Part Unnumbered Lot, C. G. Hannings Plan for the Village of Newcastle.
11.2 Permitted Sims
In addition to the signs permitted in Section 8 of the By-law, three (3) wall signs shall
be permitted, provided the sign area for each sign does not exceed 40 square feet (8.71
m2) or 10% of the area of the wall to which the sign is affIXed.
2. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing thereof.

BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 24 day of September 1990.
