THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 90-16
being a by-law to constitute and appoint
a Property Standards Committee
WHEREAS Section 31 of The Planning Act, 1983, provides for the
establishment of a Property Standards Committee composed of such
persons, not fewer than three, as the Council considers advisable,
and the Council of the municipality, when a vacancy occurs in the
membership of the Committee, shall FORTHWITH fill the vacancy;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to appoint a Property Standards
Committee;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
NEWCASTLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT a Property Standards Committee be constituted pursuant
to The Planning Act, 1983, and the following persons be
appointed as members of the Property Standards Committee for
the Town of Newcastle for a term expiring on December 31,
1990;
Jane Bryant
Russell Gibson
Les Jagoda
Pat Pingle
Barrie Welch
2. THAT Council shall, by resolution, fill any vacancy created
hereafter and set the remuneration for the members of the
Property Standards Committee.
By-law read a first and second time this 15th day of January 1990
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 15th day of
January 1990
