THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 90-15
being a by-law to appoint Fence Viewers
for the Town of Newcastle and to Repeal
By-law 89-111
WHEREAS Section 2 of the Line Fences Act, Chapter 242, R.S.O. 1980,
provides that the Council of every Municipality shall, by by-law,
appoint such number of Fence Viewers as are required to carry out
the provisions of the Act and the by-law shall fix the per diem
remuneration to be paid to the Fence Viewers;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following persons are hereby appointed as Fence
Viewers for the Town of Newcastle for a term expiring December
31, 1990;
Arthur Hamilton, R.R. #5, Bowmanville, L1e 3K6
Maurice O'Neill, R.R. #1, Newtonville, LOA 1JO
Arnot Wotten, R.R. #1, Hampton, LOB 1JO
2. THAT the remuneration of the Fence Viewers be set in
accordance with the approved 1990 Budget amounts per viewing
allocated for this purpose.
3. THAT By-law 89-111 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 15th day of January 1990
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 15th day of
January 1990
